Well. It’s been raining for the last 3 weeks. Snowing in the mountains. Went skiing in June at Elkhart park. It’s snowed a couple feet up high since then. Looks like it’ll be a while before we’re hiking in the Winds.
Instead we hang out with friends, play music, and work. Jenn’s been making jewelry. I’ve been stirring up trouble and writing some new songs.
Today was our third anniversary and the weather decided to give a little reprieve. It’s nice outside. We hope to get away this weekend. To Yellowstone to view wildlife (and tourists?), to Wild Iris to clip bolts? To Dinosaur National Monument to hike? To City of Rocks to climb granite? Tough decision, but we’re glad to have such options!
We saw the new Pixar movie “Up” recently and it’s sad opening reminded us how blessed we are to be living our adventure, not just dreaming of it. It also made us resolve to not stop living life this way, making plans, changing plans, and mixing it up.
